The Wild Duck is a converted boat dating back to the 1870s. The boat nestles behind the dunes overlooking Snettisham RSPB reserve on one side and The Wash and beach on the other. The boat has 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor seating area. The kitchen has storage units, a fridge, small freezer, oven, grill, hob and an expresso coffee maker. There are excellent views over the sand dunes towards the sea.
The comfy sitting room has a 2-seater sofa, a TV with DVD player, WIFI, CD player, radio and iPOD dock. There are stunning views over the sand dunes towards the sea.
The master bedroom is built into the bow of the boat and has 180 degree views over the reserve. The second bedroom is a double room and the 3rd is a special kid’s bedroom which has a nautical theme and 2 single beds built into the hull with lovely views over the reserve.
There is a family bathroom with a shower, WC, wash basin and airing cupboard.
The Wild Duck has a wide unfenced open space of wild grass to play on outside – perfect for flying a kite or just letting off steam! There are raised sun decks with garden furniture where you can enjoy the fabulous sunset or do some alfresco dining. At low tide, there are miles of safe sands for walking and exploring.
