    Safari Tents At Camp Katur

We were lucky enough to be invited to stay in a safari tent at Camp Katur. Sleeping from 4 – 6 people, the safari tents are ideal for families looking for a glamping experience in Yorkshire. There are 2 bedrooms in the safari tent with a large double bed in 1 ‘room’ and 2 bunk beds in the other. The open plan living / kitchen area has a large kitchen table, a comfy sofa and wood burning log burner. The kitchen area is really well equipped with hot water, crockery and pots and pans. Outside there is a private toilet with hot (yes hot!) shower and washbasin. Luxurious little extras like fairy lights, thick blankets and hot water bottles are provided.

Glamping in a safari tent is all about outdoor living, and a safari tent at Camp Katur definitely delivers on that front. There is a large veranda area with covered seating, fire pit and BBQ. All the tents are really well spaced out so you haven’t got any immediate neighbours so sunny days can be spent on the veranda watching your children play freely whilst you watch them.

There are loads of facilities onsite to make your stay even more special including a Toy Den, Woodland play area and cycle routes (bring your own bike).

Another accommodation option for families at Camp Katur is a geodome. Learn more about staying in a geodome at Camp Katur from this Yorkshire Tots review.
