The 20 luxurious, but laid-back, cottages at Bosinver have been lovingly created to provide a home away from home. They have all been rated 4* or 5* by Visit England, and some of them even have thatched roofs to add to the charm. All the cottages enjoy stylish interiors, an open plan living area and lots of little touches which will make your stay even more special. Dog friendly cottages are available.

Coliza cottage is one of the most popular cottages and is ideal for families with toddlers as it is near to the children’s play area. It has a traditional style kitchen / dining area, wobbly walls and a huge fireplace and log burner. There are 2 large bedrooms with high ceilings, polished oak floors and a bathroom with a roll top bath.

Jack’s Barn sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and is a spacious and comfortable Barn with views over rolling fields. It’s ideal for two families holidaying together.

Laburnham sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and has a stunning and unusual design with a large circular living room window with views across the valley and plenty of space for family gatherings.

Lowen sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms and has its own garden hot tub.  This zero-carbon energy self-sufficient cottage has a Type 2 EV charging point for electric vehicles as well as a great open plan living room and views over the valley.

Higher Hill sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms.  It is an ‘upside down’ house with a large upstairs open plan lounge ideal for family gatherings. Its south facing balcony makes the most of the views over the meadows where our horses often roam.

Olearia sleeps 6 in 4 bedrooms (inc 2 doubles) and has a generous open plan living space.  Olearia is a great choice for a family holiday or anyone with limited mobility.

Veronica sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms – a kingsize double, a single and a triple, Veronica has a traditional cottage type feel, but with plenty of space for the whole family and a delightful garden.

Well Close sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms (a double and two twins), Well Close has easy access on one level and is set amidst beautiful trees in the heart of our hidden valley. With a light and airy spacious open plan lounge diner it is ideal for families with young children.

Pentree sleeps 5 in two bedrooms. This is a popular choice with families with small children as it is located near our soft play barn. The king-size double is spacious, as is the large twin bedroom with two single beds and a hideaway bed for a fifth person to stay.

Trerose Cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms (a king-size double, single and twin), It’s a gorgeous, single storey stone cottage with a huge bay window offering garden views.

Apple sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and sits in a peaceful location overlooking the old orchard in the heart of our hidden valley, The living area is upstairs to make the most of the stunning views, with patio doors to a balcony to let the sunshine in and take you outdoors for alfresco dining.

Buddleia sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and is a wonderfully peaceful and secluded cottage.  It’s beautifully light and airy with a sunny south facing conservatory so is an ideal place to relax with your family.

Hillside sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.  It is a private haven overlooking the fields, perfect for wildlife watching. The conservatory with its comfy chairs is an ideal place to soak in the views with a glass of wine in the evening. It’s also handy if you’re bringing your dog on holiday with you, as there’s plenty of space to dry them off after those long, lovely, muddy walks!

Hydrangea sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms  (a king-size double and a twin).  It enjoys a peaceful location with views across the meadows teeming with wildlife. The sunny glass conservatory is an ideal spot for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The sunny patio is ideal for summer barbecues whilst watching the sun set. Ideal for pairing with Lowen.

Pear sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.  It’s a lovely stone cottage set in the old orchard in the heart of our hidden valley. The lounge is bright and cheerful with wonderful views over the orchard through the glass sliding doors and a lovely balcony. The king-size double and twin are both ensuite.

Polclay sleeps 4 in two bedrooms.  It’s a classic old stone Cornish cottage with two bedrooms  – a master with double bed and a twin bedroom. You can walk straight out of the double bedroom onto the patio – have your summer breakfasts in your dressing gown!

Rose sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.  It is possibly our most secluded cottage and is a favourite with couples and small families. Rose has a spacious master bedroom with king-size double bed plus a twin bedroom.

Valley View sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms (ensuite double and twin bedroom) and sits alongside the field leading down to the lake. You can sit and relax and enjoy the views over our beautiful Cornish countryside from the open plan living room. With a bright contemporary kitchen and large sunny conservatory/dining room Valley view is popular all year round.

The Farmhouse sleeps up to 12 people and is great for large family get togethers. With a large dining table, long lounge and hot tub in the garden it is perfect for larger groups.

Families with babies and toddlers can borrow a huge range of baby and toddler equipment for the duration of their stay.

• Gruffalo Trail – Did you know the Gruffalo has been spotted on Bosinver Farm? Borrow the book from reception and read it as you go round the trail.
• Burn off some energy in the playbarn. There are tubes to crawl though, holes to drop down, biff bash mats, a whirly slide and a spinning disc, plus Little Tikes bikes to rush around on (and comfy sofas for parents to relax on too)
• Hunt for hidden animals on the Hidden Animals Trail – see how many you can find. Prizes available!

One of their recommended favourites is Porthluney Cove Beach which is about 20 mins drive from Bosinver. This excellent south facing beach is great for sandcastles, beach games and rock pooling.
