Fox Lodge is a luxurious lodge set near sand dunes behind a long sandy beach which is popular for family picnics. It’s also close to popular places such as Craster, Alnwick and Bambrugh on the Northumberland coast.
The lodge is one of 9 which is located on a working farm behind the sand dunes at Newton-By-The-Sea. Newton-By-The-Sea is a lovely village with a country pub and beachside pub/restaurant with its own micro-brewery.
The lodge is bright and spacious with an open plan living area which is characterised by wall to wall window and stunning countryside views. The stylish kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer. The lounge has comfy sofas, a SMART TV/DVD and large patio doors which open up onto a private decking area. There’s also a separate WC.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms; one double and one twin with sloping ceilings. Both bedrooms have dual windows and countryside views and share a shower room and WC.
Outside there is a private decking area with garden furniture to enjoy alfresco dining and a morning coffee. The garden faces south west so can be a real sun trap in the afternoons and evenings. There is also a shared, enclosed children’s play area with swings, a slide and climbing frame plus a shared games room with a pool table, table football and Smart TV with Sky Sports. There is parking for one car plus plenty of additional parking nearby.
