The Bull Run

 

The Bull Run cottage is a real favourite for families with babies and toddlers as it is all on one floor. This light, airy cottage retains many of its original features with high beamed ceilings, a sunny master bedroom with an elegant king size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds and a skylight window which is perfect for watching the stars at night!

 

The Store House

 

The Store House has 2 gorgeous bedrooms with fantastic views over the stunning Cornish countryside. Leave the upper door open in the summer to hear the birdsong all around!

 

Grooms

 

Grooms is a delightful character cottage which is situated on one level. It has stunning views and snug sofas around electric gas cast iron stove. The open plan living space also includes a pretty fitted kitchen area and diner table for family get togethers.  Bed 1 has a cosy upholstered king size bed whilst Bed 2 includes a 3ft wide bunk bed

 

Granary

 

Granary has a spacious main bedroom with a king size iron bedstead  and the second bedroom with twin singles has plenty of charm, a linked ensuite with second family bathroom too.

 

Millhouse

 

Gorgeous Millhouse is a semi detached cottage with spacious rooms. The master bedroom is a super-sized bedroom with attractive super king size upholstered bed and the second large bedroom with twin singles has plenty of space too.

The Hayloft is a 3 bedroomed cottage with two bathrooms oozing plenty of charm.  It’s ideal for families with grandparents! It has one king size bedroom and two twin single bedrooms.

 

The Old Stables

 

The Old Stables is set on one level. There is a fantastic open plan, family living space with high beamed ceilings and plenty of natural light. It has one king size double, one double and the final bedroom has 3ft wide bunk beds. The double doors also open up onto a safe grass area.

 

 

Cottages Sleeping 8

 

Granary and Mill House can be combined to provide 4 spacious bedrooms including 1 Super King size double bedroom, 1 Kingsize and 2 twin single bedrooms. Both cottages have a separate shower room and large family bathroom.  The cottages are located next to each other and enjoy south facing views across the Glynn Valley as well as opening out onto the front lawn.

BEST Things To Do Around Glynn Barton Cottages With Babies And Toddlers

The beauty of Glynn Barton is that there is loads to do onsite, as well as some fab days out in the local area. There are loads of ideas on the Glynn Barton website for dry days out and also ideas about things to do when its raining!

  • Doing the Julia Donaldson Trail at Cardinham Woods – there is a lovely child friendly café there too!
  • The Eden Project is a must – and it’s just around the corner from Glynn Barton.
  • Visit Lanhydrock House, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and ride the Bodmin to Wentford steam train. There is a fab balance bike trail at Lanhydrock!
  • Head down to Fowey for a stroll around the shops, call in at the aquarium and take the ferry to Mevagissey where you can often see dolphins.
  • Cycle the camel trail from Wadebridge to Padstow and finish up at Rick Stein’s Fish and Chip shop.
  • Drive north to Doc Martin’s Port Isaac to take part in the treasure hunt trail and go to The Rock
