Thor’s Cottage – Sleeps 5
Thor’s Cottage is named after the large limestone cavern that can be viewed from the property and is just a 15 minute walk away from Hall Farm. It is a 2 storey stone walled cottage which is part of a former cowshed / hay loft and sleeps 5 people in 2 bedrooms.
Downstairs there is an open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen including a fridge / freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster, There is also a dining table and a comfy seating area with electric fire, Smart TV with access to Netflix and a variety of family friendly books and games.
Upstairs there is 1 double bedroom and a triple bunk (double on the bottom and single on the top) -both bedrooms have fabulous views over the Manifold Valley. The family bathroom has a WC, sink, heated towel rail, bath and electric shower.
Outside Thor’s cottage there is a lawn to the front with a seating area which is perfect for enjoying the views over the Manifold Valley.
Manifold Cottage – Sleeps 4
Manifold Cottage is named after the river valley which lies approximately ¼ of a mile to the west of Hall Farm.
Manifold Cottage is a 2 storey stone walled cottage which sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There is an open plan living area, well equipped kitchen and comfy seating area with books and games for the whole family.
Upstairs there is 1 double bedroom and a bunk room. Both rooms have views over the Manifold Valley and room for a travel cot which can be provided if required. The family bathroom has a WC, sink, heated towel rail, bath and electric shower.
Outside the cottage there is a lawn to the front with a seating area overlooking the Manifold Valley.
Dovedale Cottage
Dovedale is a 2-bedroom cottage which sleeps 3 people in a double room and single room. It is named after the Dovedale National Trust which is only 2.5 miles away from Hall Farm and is known for its stepping stones.
Dovedale is a stone walled single storey cottage which was converted from a cow shed. It benefits from a light and airy open plan living area with spectacular views over the Manifold Valley. It also has a well equipped kitchen including a fridge (please note, no freezer – there is an additional fridge/freezer in the utility barn should guests require this), electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials. There is a dining table with three chairs and comfortable seating area with electric fire, smart TV with access to Netflix, an Alexa echo and a variety of different books and games for all the family.
Upstairs there is a large double bedroom complete with four-poster bed and a small single room. Both bedrooms can accommodate a travel cot which can be provided if necessary. The family bathroom has a WC, sink, heated towel rail, bath and an electric shower.
Outside the cottage has a sheltered gravel area to the front with table and chairs overlooking the garden.
