The cottage is also ideally located for coastal walks and walks along the Cleveland Way.  The historic seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea is great for families with babies and toddlers as it has an award-winning Blue Flag beach, a pier and a water balanced cliff lift! There are also loads of cafes and ice cream shops and it’s close to Whitby and Staithes.

The kitchen at Salt and Sand is fully kitted out with everything you need, or you can take your food down to the garden for an alfresco dinner.  The comfortable outdoor seating is also perfect for a relaxing evening watching the sun go down with a drink or two.
