They work out the cheapest destinations by looking into the prices for top tourist items like suncream, bottled water and a 3-course evening meal. You’d be surprised how much things can change in a year! Well, we’ve scoured through the report, so you don’t need to worry about that now. Instead, we can now bring to you the 10 best value baby and toddler friendly holidays in 2023 based on the Holiday Money Report. #1. Marmaris, Turkey

Taking the top spot in the annual Post Office Holiday Money Report for the first time ever, we have Marmaris in Turkey! You can cash in the savings at this sun-soaked destination, as all eight tourist items featured in the report totalled just £26.13. Drinks and dining are the best value in particular here, with a 3-course meal averaging just over £16. What’s more, this is a fantastic resort for baby and toddler friendly holidays in 2023. It’s home to a set of stunning sandy beaches with calm, shallow waves. Plus, you’ll also be near to the amazing Aqua Dream Waterpark filled with a range of chutes and slides to suit all ages.

The family friendly Club Exelsior is highly recommended for its colourful splash park, indoor play area and amazing arcade.

Julian Club Hotel

The colourful outdoor playground will be a favourite for younger children at the Julian Club Hotel.   There’s also a children’s pool and a selection of water slides.

#2. Sunny Beach, Bulgaria

Last year’s winner of the Post Office Holiday Money Report is in very close second place this time around. All eight tourist items cash in at just £26.19 here, so just a few pennies separate Marmaris and Sunny Beach. It’s more a matter of preference for which one you choose. And in fact, Sunny Beach works out cheaper for selected items such as beer, wine and sun lotion. The main beach in the resort has the Blue Flag for its cleanliness, with 4.5km of white-gold sand.

The Algarve is third on this year’s report, with all eight items totalling a highly respectable £44.39. Coffee, wine and beer are all exceptional value here, with some prices even giving Marmaris and Sunny Beach a run for their money. #4. Paphos, Cyprus

Paphos is fifth on the list and fourth in all of Europe. Top price picks here are the bottled water, sun cream and insect repellent. #6. Funchal, Madeira, Portugal

The capital of Madeira, Funchal, has regularly made the top ten in the annual Post Office Holiday Money Report and this year is no different. The main resort in this evergreen island reached a commendable eighth in this year’s report. Compared to many other holiday destinations, its best value can be found in drinks, with a coffee usually costing just £1.61. This island is famed for its year-round sunshine and beautiful botanical gardens, making it a great choice next winter for baby and toddler friendly holidays in 2023. Madeira is known for its sedate pace and quieter atmosphere, so it could be perfect for a baby-friendly holiday. There are some fun things to do too, including whale watching out on the Atlantic or horse riding through the island’s lush forest trails.

Sliema in Malta made the top ten in the Holiday Money Report thanks to a 5.8% fall in prices here compared to the previous year. It’s one of Malta’s most popular resorts, thanks to its quiet atmosphere and stunning seafront. As Malta is such a compact island, it’s very easy to explore the surrounding area too. That includes the unique Popeye Village theme park in the north of the island, which was created from the 1980 Popeye movie’s filmset.
