The Daily Star has featured one of our Kiddieholidays cottages in its Travel section! Fire Truck Retreat is a 2 bedroom former fire truck on a working beef and cattle farm in the Lake District.   Perfect for fire engine lovers, this former fire truck has loads to keep mini firefighters happy including fire engine beds and a fireman’s pole! 

The lounge area is perfect for cozy family nights in with a SMART TV, comfy sofa and large bean bags.  The kitchen is well equipped for family meals with an electric oven and hob, drop down table and a wine cooler / fridge. There’s also a sauna room and a shower room with shower and WC .

The children’s bedroom is also on the ground floor and is a real toddler pleaser with fantastic fire engine bedsteads and funky sleeping bags.  The spacious master bedroom is up the ladder and comes complete with a king size bed, TV, dressing table and gated lockable fireman’s pole.

Outside there is a decked patio with seating area.  There’s also a cabin in the fire truck which has firemen costumes and a disused hose pipe for children to play with.
