Boasting 32 cottages on a 500-acre working farm, Olde House is surrounded by lush countryside and is just a stone’s throw from the famous fishing villages of Padstow and Port Isaac. There is beautiful brand-new swimming pool (including a toddler pool), indoor playbarn, pets corner and best of all – tractor and trailer rides around the farm during school holidays!

The Olde House Cottages
There are 32 cottages on the farm at the Olde House sleeping from 2- 10 people. This includes a mixture of purpose-built cottages, and others which have been converted from original farm buildings retaining their original character. All of the cottages are located around the old farmyard except for 5 cottages which are located in the pretty village of Chapel Amble.
3G families or families holidaying together can stay in The Barn or the Manor House which sleep up to 10 people. Both these cottages are 5* rated and have spacious living areas with most of the bedrooms being ensuite. The Manor house even has a little snug under the stairs with a DVD player! Marsh cottage is good for families with babies and toddlers as it is located in a quieter part of the farm, and has an enclosed garden.

Feeding the farm animals twice a day in the animal feeding sessions. This includes feeding the pigs, goats, lambs and chickens.

Visiting the lambing shed to see the newborn lambs being born. Then helping feeding them in the Pets Corner afterwards (only during lambing season)
Going pond dipping in one of the farm’s ponds – trays, nets and identification charts are provided.
The highlight of every stay – an hour-long guided tractor and trailer ride around the 550 acre farm! (peak times only)
Fab Things To Do Around the Olde House With Babies And Toddlers
Hitting the beach – Polzeath beach, Watergate Bay and Daymer Bay are within easy reach.
Go for a bike ride along the Camel Trail from Wadebridge and Padstow – this 5 mile long section offers breathtaking views over the estuary.
Have a day out at the Camel Creek Adventure Park. With family friendly rides, giant play areas and animal encounters, this is ‘must do’ day out. Just 20 mins away from the Olde House.
